Metro Pup SA Dog Walking & Pet Sitting owner, Eric is proud to offer professional dog walking and pet sitting in San Antonio. Eric has a BSBA in Marketing from the University of the Incarnate Word and has worked in advertising as well as non-profit organizations in both San Antonio and New York City.
With a great passion for animals that he attributes to his grandmother's love of animals, Eric can remember always being around furry family members. In 2014, while looking for responsible, dedicated, and reliable pet care for his own fur-babies, he realized that finding these qualities in a professional pet sitter was more difficult than expected. So, after much thought, Eric decided to bring his passion for animals and love of the outdoors together and offer professional dog walking and pet sitting in San Antonio.
Eric is proud to offer a unique, personalized standard of service. Daniel - Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
A native of Savannah, Georgia, Daniel brings his passion for petcare and animal welfare to San Antonio... Along with his 4 cats! He can't recall a time in which there wasn't a family member with fur, feathers, or a tail. At any given time there were dogs, hamsters, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish--with the occasional bug, amphibian, or reptile. It wasn't until 2012 when his first cat Teagan was taken home as a kitten, teaching him the Tao of the Tabby.
His interest in pet sitting originated in high school. Since then, he has been doing it on a personal and professional level in a variety of environments for over 10 years, having once managed his own sitting service in Savannah. Over the years he eventually gained a reputation for his affinity with feline care. Now he is thrilled to share his experience and passion with Metro Pup SA's team!
Sean - Senior Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Sean's love of animals has extended back for years. He has been surrounded, at various times of his life, with a Saint Bernard, Mastiffs, assorted cats, parakeets, snakes, snails, mice, Basset Hounds, a Bull Dog, a Golden Retriever, a Beagle mutt thing, and many more fish. His goal is to branch out and get a horse at some point in the near future.
Sean has traversed the great United States from his birth state of West Virginia, to Wisconsin, and a stop in North Carolina before finally arriving here in San Antonio. Sean is wildly excited to be joining such a passionate and professional pet care service as Metropup SA.
When not taking care of your fury family, he is taking care and teaching teenagers as a High School teacher for Incarnate Word High School. Sean strives to provide the absolute best care, whether it be a happy dog, goofy cat, cranky teenager, slitherin snake….unless that snake is Voldemort, Sean doesn’t take care of Voldemort……. or any other feathered, fur, scaled member of your family!
Sarah - Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Sarah’s passion for animal began as a small child, growing up in Honolulu, HI. Some of her earliest memories were not just the many beloved cats in her home but also in observing the native wildlife across the island. At a young age, she dreamed of becoming a marine biologist. Throughout her childhood, her family would adopt rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, and cats. Her friends always pointed out her ability to understand and communicate with animals.
Sarah was brought up in a military family, which meant moving throughout the United States. Sarah chose the San Antonio area to raise her children in 2004. Sarah is a mother of three, not including her fur-babies Jasper and Aires. Currently, Sarah is attending UTSA in pursuit of a Bachelors in Fine Arts and plans to become an Art Teacher. Sarah hopes that through art education she will show her pupils that art is more than aesthetics; and how it can open one’s eyes to deeper levels of perception and creativity.
Upon Sarah’s discovery of Metro Pup SA Dog Walking & Pet Sitting, she was surprised and delighted to have the opportunity to work with animals. The idea of being a shining light in her new furry-friends' day, while being trusted to do so by clients is a gift within itself.
Raquel - Dog Walker & Pet Sitter
Raquel was born and raised in San Antonio and is the youngest of eight children. Since childhood, she has always had a sincere love for animals and can remember from a young age, her desire to help neighborhood furry friends. She is currently attending Texas A&M and is pursuing a degree in Animal Science.
Raquel also works for San Antonio Pets Alive where she loves making a difference in the lives of shelter animals. Raquel brings experience in working with various breeds and ages of animals and loves being a part of the professional pet care team at Metro Pup SA.
Raquel is committed to providing detail oriented, accurate, and loving care for every client. Raquel is also trained in Pet CPR and first aid.
